When you become a Member of VNA Homecare Options, you’ll have access to the wound care you need. VNA Homecare Options offers a healthcare plan for Medicaid beneficiaries living throughout New York State.
At VNA Homecare Options, we believe the safe and effective treatment of wounds for those requiring home care should be a top priority. That’s why we’ve created one of the most effective, comprehensive wound care programs in the state. Wounds that aren’t treated properly take a much longer time to heal and can cause other health concerns for patients, like infections, hospitalizations, and even death.
VNA Homecare Options will assess each wound patient on an individual basis, and apply the best care possible for the specific condition. We will collaborate with your physician and other providers closely, and we’ll educate you on self-care, so we can help you heal as quickly and fully as possible.
These wound care services are offered as part of our managed long-term care (MLTC) plan, which includes in-home and long-term healthcare for our Members. Find out if you are eligible to join and become a Member.
